Throughout both brochure and website you will find a ‘Liddy says…’ section which highlights the unique reasons why a particular tour has been selected. Each tour includes features that Imaginative Traveller has become renowned for – unique homestays, distinctive activities, a variety of unusual accommodation and transportation, original itineraries and, of course, all accompanied by our exceptional tour guides. And all offering superb value!

Committed to sustainable tourism

Right from the very start The Imaginative Traveller has been built upon partnerships between ourselves and suppliers in the countries where we operate. Our partners on the ground are from the local community - in many countries the partnerships we have established are as old as the company itself. Our view is that the destination must benefit from our presence. We source all our supplies locally and a high percentage of our staff are recruited locally. This level of local input ensures our trips are run responsibly with the local communities in mind.

Imaginative Traveller and Dragoman

Imaginative Traveller is pleased to announce that it is joining forces with Dragoman Overseas Travel Ltd. From 1 October 2011 Imaginative Traveller will be integrated within the Dragoman portfolio, allowing customers to choose between two distinct travel styles..
The two products will operate side by side under the Dragoman Overseas Travel Ltd umbrella, with both brands retaining their individual websites and identity.

Charlie Hopkinson, MD of Dragoman Overseas Travel Ltd, said: "Whilst our truck-based Overland Tours are well-established, the integration of the Imaginative Traveller brand within the Dragoman family will allow us to develop our small group adventure holiday offering further. We are keen to retain the brand values, destinational expertise and emphasis on affordable adventures that has kept Imaginative Traveller customers loyal for the past 20 years and are confident that the product will complement our existing adventure holidays well."

Imaginative Traveller’s tailor-made capability will also provide a greater range of personalised itineraries for individuals, couples, families and special interest groups and will sit alongside the current range of private truck chartered trips Dragoman offers.

The 2012 Dragoman Overland Tour brochure will be released in November and the Imaginative Traveller Small Group Adventure brochure is scheduled for launch in December.
