Hi we are planning on going on the Beyond the Mekong trip in November and was wondering if anyone could give their review on it?
Also is says about the basic buses being 8 hour trips was wondering if these stop for toilet breaks if so how often and is it a squat in the bush lol or do they stop at toliets?
This will be our first trip to Asia so any other advice you could give would be welcome.
thx

Hello There,
Unfortunately we have not received any reviews from previous travellers who have been on this tour, although I would hope that someone who has and has seen your post would comment.
However, our global operations manager Liddy, chose this tour because of the great combination of culture (watch the monks collecting alms in Luang Probang), history (gain an insight into Vietnam’s turbulent past in its charming capital, Hanoi) and of course the scenery (the mountain scenery en route from Laos to Vietnam).
In regards to the bus journeys, yes you will stop for toilet and refreshment breaks. From speaking to members of our sales team who have travelled in South East Asia, especially along routes similar to this, the toilet and refreshment breaks are likely to be at either a service station or shop that has toilet facilities. We recommend that you would carry tissues and hand sanitizer as well, as a back up.
Many Thanks
