Travellers going on Australian holidays have been urged to try the "multicultural" cuisine on offer. In an article for e-Travel Blackboard, John Alwyn-Jones claimed that the country has "the best meat in the world [and] most amazing range of fish". Mr Alwyn-Jones pointed out that people on holidays in Australia can have their pick of worldwide foods, including Chinese, Greek and Thai. He also noted the country’s love of seafood and the wide selection on offer. One particular outlet he recommended for people visiting Cairns is Dundee's.
A visit to a region of India could be the ideal retreat for travellers wishing to escape the touristy areas of the country. Writing for Suite101, Chayanika Sen has advised people to make their way to Santiniketan in west Bengal. The journalist described the province as the ideal tonic to tourists worn out by the hustle and bustle of more crowded destinations. She revealed: "Santiniketan is truly the abode of peace and a perfect weekend getaway for city dwellers."
Travellers who are hoping to find themselves on their latest adventure may want to make a stop at Shompole, a lodge in Kenya that may benefit their body, mind and spirit. According to the establishment, it has launched a new, exclusive experience for its visitors, called African body works. It is tailored to match individual expectations and is said to help reduce passive stress and the symptoms that come with it, such as backaches, depression, mood swings and recurrent colds and flu. And imaginative explorers may be especially attracted to the facility due to its location.
