For a great overview on the southern islands of the Galapagos its hard to go past this cruising adventure. After flying to the islands, we board our boat and cruise to Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz, then on to South Plaza and Santa Fe. Next is isolated Espanola Island, where we find waved albatross, blue-footed booby, masked booby, Galapagos hawk, Darwin finch, sea lion and the prehistoric looking marine iguana. On the buccaneer hideaway island of Floreana we visit Post Office Bay, this is a great spot for snorkelling and is full of sea lion and colourful fish. We also encounter the stately pink flamingo wading in the shallow waters of inland lagoons.
Galapagos Adventure
Arriving at Santa Cruz Island we check out the giant Galapagos tortoise at the Charles Darwin Research Station. It's a busy itinerary, but amongst all this activity we will still find time to kick back and relax, sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling.
